To you and I yes but with mothers you never know. Just asking to see if he can comment on this subject because some are skeptical on if momma wants him close to home or not. Feaster has said its no big deal but who knows what momma thinks.

Freaking love butch. A normal coach panics when he strikes out on a few recruits at a position, instead of taking a diamond in the rough we reshuffle the deck and go after the best guys even if they're committed. A lot of coaches would have settled for less.

Beat OSU in an Orange Bowl while also losing 70-33 to WVU as well. They have had a better decade than we have but the last 7-10 years has been there best stretch since 1980s to early 90s. Also only 1 Acc Championship.

Set a record for the most points allowed in the Orange Bowl. Almost beat Florida State without their QB. Routinely recruits top 15 classes and has the illustrious title of Second Best of the ACC.

To be fair, they have beaten UGA, LSU, and SC in recent years.

Annnnddddd West Virginia just scored...again.

70 points is nothing to be concerned about. If it had been 77 points I'd tell recruits to worry and look elsewhere. IMO the Clemson coaching staff was only trying to get attention to their program.

It worked. I have a co-worker who is a Clemson grad.If we flip this kid my friend will go nuts.He has bragged about this kid for months.

Most times it works out momma wins. But not always, Drew's mom was not big on UT and he is on campus now after Butch showed her UT was/is the best place for Drew. Also about 3 years ago, I think at the Army AA game, a 5 star DB from Louisiana ( kids name escapes me ) chose Bama over LSU on national TV and mom was not happy ( pitched a fit honestly ) but the kid ended up at the Gump's. Those two are good examples of where momma did not win out.

In DR's case CBJ got mom on board to some extint, but I do not think CNS every got that kids mom on board but he still went to Bama. Hope CBJ gets Feasters mom on board and it will be a smoother and easier flip to the good guys.

Shy Tuttle's mom wanted him to go to UNC. I think she even wore Carolina blue to his announcement.

Tavien realizes Tennessee is a 2nd tier school with a second tier football program, and that living in the mountains of Tennessee would be miserable and will stick with the top tier Tigers.

Add in that his family can make the Clemson games easily, and it's our win. Don't get twisted out of shape and make him think we don't want him.
