I don't know why my fellow Vol fans cheer for our East rivals.... No way I ever want SC to beat Clemson.

Sure we have a few recruiting battles with Clemson, but they are not a rival team like SC is. I'll cheer for Clemson to win that one every time...

I'm sure the thing about Feaster being the only back was predicated on him committing. If he doesn't, and somebody else jumps on board while he is going back and forth, he can't really complain. Then you tell Feaster, "hey, things have changed, but we still need your ability on this squad".

For everyone saying that Feaster is clearly the better back, what do you see in him that you don't see in CFA?

Game breaking speed. Both are good but Feaster is a slight step above IMO. I think Feaster was the 1A guy on our board this year, if the coaches feel confident on getting him maybe that takes us out of taking a RB like CFA at this point. Entirely based on how the coaches feel about our chances.

Don't you want our rivals to do well? It reflects better on UT whether we win or lose to said rival school. When SC beats Clemson, it makes Tennessee's win over SC more impressive. If all of our rivals sucked, this conference would be nowhere near as exciting, and an SEC championship wouldn't mean very much. If Clemson were an SEC school, and that game would affect UT's standing in the East, then that would be different; but as far as (regular season) SEC teams vs. out-of-conference teams go, I'm nearly always going to pull for the SEC team.

I don't like guys like this. If he just wanted to test the waters, that's fine. But Clemson can keep him. I don't want dishonest players like this on my Vols roster. We'd rather have Holyfield. Atleast he has some integrity.

SC isn't a rival. They have had some good years that coincided with Tennessee's worst years. Sure, they play in the east but they shouldn't be contenders.

I actually root for all the sec teams to lose in their bowl games. Besides ut (obviously)

NO....I want Alabama in football and Kentucky in basketball to never win.....same for Notre Dame not a rival

Except for bama and the gators, never pull for those two. It is a tough thing, wanting our conference to be the best but wanting them to lose as well. It's really varies, for me, year by year as to who I pull for to win and lose. Whatever helps us look best comes first, then the conference. With the exception of bama and Florida, as I said.

I read several pages back about our qb depth, and while we have freshmen to back up Dobbs, I would rather have our roster at qb than Georgia. What do you guys think?

Wonder how he felt about Drew Richmond? Or any recruit committed to any school before switching to UT? What an asinine comment to make.

I'm divorced and all I have to say about my marriage is thank god that "til death do us part" crap is as nonbinding as the verbal commitment of a high school recruit. An act of dishonesty requires the intent of deception. It is not dishonest to change one's mind... (especially when it involves a flip to Tennessee).

Could you imagine a coach not pursuing any players that are committed elsewhere? And in the SEC? They would fail miserably and the fanbase would be wanting their head on a spike.

It never ceases to amaze me when people pull the intellectually superior card and proceeds to make the most braindead statement of any of the posters in question. Not to mention this guy is obviously has no balls by posting this on a site where most people would have to subscribe to post. I wish "fans" like him would find another team.
