Oh trust me I know. I'm not going to miss that stuff to watch us blow out western kentucky or north texas. I'll have to try to set up something to tivo some of the games thoughI'm going to be crucified for this but...
...Tivo the UT games. Go out and enjoy the SEC game atmosphere with friends and acquaintances. These are the most memorable years in your life and the USCe campus really only has football going for it.
Unless it's a meaningful SEC game then your butt better be in Neyland or in front of the TV like the rest of us.
Still call BULL on that and would love for Feaster to NOT decommit...officially visit Tennessee and dare Dabo to pull his scholarship offer. It would be worth it to watch Clemson's coach eat his own dirty air.
It seems as though you just dropped into this thread. It's not about fandom or who has the bigger upside or even how good is Butch's recruiting. If you look back a few pages you'll see that Clemson has been building relationships with this kid and his family for four years. His mother, in particular, is sold on Clemson.
Yes, he had a great trip to UT and we turned his head. His mother was not there. If we get her to come with him for an OV we're in business but he will have to decommit to do that because of Clemson's policy.
Butch has done a great job here but Clemson has had a huge head start. On top of that Feaster was told he would be the only RB we would take. After he left UT and Clemson got back in his ear we took a commitment from CFA. That was us saying 'we gave it our best shot, you're a good kid, we'd love to have you but we can't wait around on the chance you flip'. This one is over until he brings his mother on an OV. That's just fact.
I would like to believe they signed up not because of simple blind allegiance, but rather that they believed in the potential greatness that was possible.
I interpret the change in recruiting success between Dooley and jones to the latter.
Otherwise despite their foolishness they just got lucky.
In my experience people make their own luck.

I'm not going to go round and round with this.
To me it's simple-
The volunteers have out recruited Clemson during jones' tenure. With another cycle looking fairly spectacular I see no reason to believe otherwise in 2015.
If Feaster wants to surround himself with a more talented group on both sides of the ball to get more wins and a better shot at playoffs, then he needs to bring his talent to Knoxville.
If he wants to stick close to home I wouldn't blame him. I will think he made a poor decision, and honestly believe will have squandered an opportunity.
If that's his dream, have at it.
I would rather line up with UT the next five years than against us.
His dream, his decision.... You get what you ask for.
I am working in Spartenburg today and he just tried to selling me a discount coupon booklet at a cookout resturant.. He was with his coach and another players. I asked after he introduced himself if he was going to TN.. Just a big smile...
No bs story
PS they only have 11 commits. It's a numbers game right now. Their star average is higher than ours at this point but we have more commits counting towards the points total.
Wait for it.
When KD,NW, and possibly MH and Price commit the game will change dramatically😈
I'm not giving up on Feaster!
Yes we have some making up to do, but the kid was very interested- we can sway this kid.

Such a homer statement.
"A 7-6, previous 4 straight seasons of going 5-7 Tennessee team is better than a perennial 10-win Clemson team."
That's just not the case right now and you know it. He knows it. The world knows it. It would be a testament to how good Butch is at selling a program's potential to get Feaster..
But if we're going on who has the biggest chance to showcase his talent on a championship level right now? It's Clemson.
But that won't be the case next year.... You know, when he would be playing here, if he came to UT. So it's irrelevant that they are ahead of us this year. Future looks much brighter at UT.
Wait for it.

Dabo banned social media? How lame is that? Clemson is already a boring school. Go run some laps, you posted a picture on Instagram. Who wants to deal with that?
I enjoyed my one semester of grad school at Clemson. Probably a little too much. Beautiful campus, beautiful girls and life revolves around the school. I think it's a neat setup. Liquor stores close at about 6pm though and Saturday bars close at midnight. That's the lamest part.
