Wouldn’t sacrifice a spot for a 4 year player if one our our upperclassmen that haven’t seen the field in 3 years were told to leave If we get him, chances are Fant or CFA transfers. Surprised one of them already haven’tAnd I’m not saying Feaster is trash or anything. He’s a great back. Probably would be at worst our second best RB when he stepped on campus. Does that translate to more wins with this Oline and is that worth sacrificing a spot for a four year player?
No way Banks would redshirt. That kid wants on the field more than any kid I've ever seen. He even convinced the coaches to let him play LB just to get on the field. He's got that dog in him and physically ready, he's not sitting on the sidelines. We could use him. Red shirt banks and give him another year to get over fumbleitus. Have Feaster and Gray as our 1-2-3. That’s our workhorse back that allows us to utilize Gray and Chandler in other ways
Yikes. If that’s the case then this offense is going to be bad.I think we’re a helluva lot better at RB than pretty much any other position on offense. I think our backs are actually pretty damn good when the offensive line doesn’t allow initial contact behind the LOS.
Pretty sure you do sacrifice one of the 25 initial qualifier spots if you take Feaster.Wouldn’t sacrifice a spot for a 4 year player if one our our upperclassmen that haven’t seen the field in 3 years were told to leave If we get him, chances are Fant or CFA transfers. Put those kids behind Clemson's OL last year and your comments would be quite different.Yikes. If that’s the case then this offense is going to be bad.
We’ve got one SEC RB in Chandler. And he’s proven he can’t carry the load. He’s really good in spurts.
Jordan is very average.
Banks looks good but runs head first into every warm body and fumbles a ton.
Gray is hurt and might not be ready to contribute as a freshman.
He wouldn’t transferthat'd be a good way to get Banks to transfer....lol.
then we'd probably have room for Feaster?
win win?
lol.
i'd love to have Feaster. not sure it's worth the roster spot at this point though. if they push and get him, i'll roll with that decision. i won't be mad if we don't though.
we need banks to "get it" this fall and be part of that 1/2 punch. jordan looked better physically in the spring game, but i'll have to see if the vision has improved when live bullets start flying.Yikes. If that’s the case then this offense is going to be bad.

Well, one is a true sophomore and the other hasn't taken a snap. So I agree with you. But they proved plenty in HS. Maybe we should give them a little time to prove themselves in college? And thank you for proving my point from my post above.I’m not sure banks and gray have proven much of anything just yet.
We know Ron. We have the best roster in cfb history to ever go 5-7. Who needs a former 5 star offensive playmaker?Bottom line is often times fans love other teams players much more than their own. We love them as recruits but once they are on the roster, if they don't become AA's as freshman we'd rather trade them in for other teams players. I can see if now...Feaster transfers to UT, game 1 he gets 5 carries for 18 yards and we declare him a wasted scholarship and a complete bust haha.

I never said we didn't need him. Never said I wouldn't want him. Just said our OL is the reason our current RB's don't look so great and maybe CU's OL had something to do with Feaster being pretty good. And I also said that RB transfer isn't a top priority with our staff if I had to guess. Do you disagree with those things? We know Ron. We have the best roster in cfb history to ever go 5-7.
