I think we’re a helluva lot better at RB than pretty much any other position on offense. I think our backs are actually pretty damn good when the offensive line doesn’t allow initial contact behind the LOS.

Wouldn’t sacrifice a spot for a 4 year player if one our our upperclassmen that haven’t seen the field in 3 years were told to leave If we get him, chances are Fant or CFA transfers. Surprised one of them already haven’t

No way Banks would redshirt. That kid wants on the field more than any kid I've ever seen. He even convinced the coaches to let him play LB just to get on the field. He's got that dog in him and physically ready, he's not sitting on the sidelines.

Pretty sure you do sacrifice one of the 25 initial qualifier spots if you take Feaster.

You might be right about Chandler. I do think he’s legitimately good.

I don’t see it with the rest - yet. They can be good. But teams like Bama, UGA, LSU, etc. have 4 Ty Chandler’s. We’ve got one.

i'd love to have Feaster. not sure it's worth the roster spot at this point though. if they push and get him, i'll roll with that decision. i won't be mad if we don't though.

we need banks to "get it" this fall and be part of that 1/2 punch. jordan looked better physically in the spring game, but i'll have to see if the vision has improved when live bullets start flying.

banks is a punishing runner, and if he can hold on to the ball, i think he's got a shot at being really good....

still, that's an if that needs an answer in the end. same with Jordan. i do agree with @Bassmaster_Vol , Feaster on this roster allows you to do things with Chandler you'd like to do. i'm with you on Gray, not sure how much he contributes this year. so if you could work it where Feaster, Banks and Chandler are the three you go to primarily....i'd be for that on ability/talent alone.

Well, one is a true sophomore and the other hasn't taken a snap. So I agree with you. But they proved plenty in HS. Maybe we should give them a little time to prove themselves in college? And thank you for proving my point from my post above.

I never said we didn't need him. Never said I wouldn't want him. Just said our OL is the reason our current RB's don't look so great and maybe CU's OL had something to do with Feaster being pretty good. And I also said that RB transfer isn't a top priority with our staff if I had to guess. Do you disagree with those things?
