Price said he should be in Knoxville in a couple weeks and that TN coaches have ramped up their efforts and he just wants to be there.

He was planning to play at MS Gulf Coast last season, but it didn't work out for undisclosed reasons. He just enrolled at East MS in January. Doesn't seem at all feasible for him to come to UT this year. This is only his first first semester of juco (unless he passed classes at Gulf Coast last semester in which case it would be at most his 2nd semester). At least that is what I'm taking from these articles.

Rooting for this kid to turn it around, especially because he's a TN kid. I think Ziti has said it before, and I've always held the same view -- weird recruitment equals weird career. Hope this is one of the exceptions.

Yeah that makes since. I thought it said he enrolled at East MS last year but sat out the season. I probably misunderstood.

Excited for the kid but wish he was an 18 with 3 for three instead of a 19.

Still, love that our class is gaining momentum and we took another trench guy.

I am not going to lie. When I saw his thread bumped I assumed it was a post about him being arrested or something along those lines. I hope as he sat out and got older that he has matured.....a lot!

I watched this kid play against Dobyns Bennett a few years back. He made a sideline catch that amazed me from the the tight end position. To be that big with that kind of body control and speed was impressive to watch.

Remember seeing his early highlights thinking wow beast then you just heard nothing but trouble with him afterwards

Sounds like Dustin Carter..if I remember his name correctly...that kid was the most naturally gifted athlete I've ever seen at TE at Tennessee, but ultimately one of the biggest wastes of talent I've ever seen also.
