A simple hereditary condition in the same vein as some people being able to roll their tongues.

Not simple if you're living it day to day. I work daily with children who have disabilities. I've had several albinos who were disabled and receiving SSI. Disability doesnt necessary make you totally disable. YOU CAN COPE! That's my point with my grand. She copes and rises above adversity to excel.

You seem to miss the point here though. You have nothing to say about the ones who poke fun at him but want to lash out at me. Disorder or disability I am not the one poking fun here. But it's clear that you think it's ok to take hits at Fisher.

Omg, no one was poking fun at him. Fisher isn't a princess locked up in a tower. He doesn't need you telling people to give him special treatment because he's "disabled." In my experience, people with legitimately impeding conditions don't want to be treated differently than anyone else. No one wants to be poked fun of, regardless of the subject of attack, whether it's being disabled, being a UK fan, being a drive-thru worker, etc. We don't need to create double standards.

We don't need to be rude or insensitive either.

The coolest thing of all would be for us not to poke fun at him. I would hate for his parents to read these posts if he came to TN.

Most Albinos probably feel self conscious enough about their pigmentation. We here on VN should make them feel comfortable and welcome. :eek:k:

Turn the pc bs radar off. Not poking fun at all. I worked 25 years with young people. And I maintain he'd be a great attraction with orange hair especially if he played lights out. Any player would be if they had light hair and the dye would take correctlly.

Please read before you utter another word about your grand knowledge of albinism. BTW I would think he would like to be treated just like anyone else and not singled out for sympathy.
Albinism - Wikipedia, the free:: encyclopedia

Everyone knows that it is contributed to by anyone one who feels the need to. No expertise needed. So you're welcome to continue to use or refer to it. I prefer not to.

You've made your argument and VN has read it. You said what you think and I've had my say. Let's move on.:hi:

Dude 99.99999% of Wiki pages have legit citations from accredited sources, as is required by Wikipedia now. The Wiki credibility argument is very outdated at this point.

Point being things can still get changed. Not making an argument out of it lol

Didn't they pass something recently where students can now credit Wikipedia for papers? I could be wrong, thiught I saw that.

I used Wikipedia the whole time I was in college. What some people don't realize is that Wikipedia supplies citations to the sources of the information on each Wiki page. So you can easily cross reference the validity of the information. It's not 2001, Wikipedia isn't the wild west of internet shenanigans anymore.

Lol growing up I edited the UK page, I can't remember what I put on it but it was horrible.

Things don't get changed if you can't supply a credible citation. If you want, go try to edit some BS into a page. It won't work.

It certainly seemed you were arguing that poster's credibility when you called him out for citing Wikipedia.
