In all 12 games but in a 3rd TE / ST role. Think he was hurt for bowl game.

We should have a lot of bodies at TE but a lot of guys who might need development yet. Wolf is #1 obviously but would be nice if Croom could be the #2 & Creamer has come along at the position.

Still not sure where JJ stands from a development standpoint.

Lots of TE's, very very little proven ability.

I would bet if Byrd, Brown, Daniels, and Warrior want to come to Tennessee, Butch would tell someone else to look some where other than UT. He has done it before and will do it again.

Right now Vols D line wish list has to be:

1) Brown
2) Daniels/Kongbo*
3) Woods
4) Bailey

* Kongbo is not likely at this point

Brown always has been out #1. Don't think there's an argument there.

I think we would take either Daniels, Kongbo or Woods before Bailey therefore Bailey is sort of the fall back (sorry Bailey).

Don't think we can take 3.

I don't think it is at this point. Coach knows what the needs are. You look at the list of 5-10 recruits for those 3-4 spots and you fill needs. If you need a DT, take the first one to commit. If your next biggest need is DE, take one. Filling those last few spots I'd think is the most enjoyable part of the recruiting season. Next to receiving the fax of course.

Just read about his visit. He made it sound like he initially came here just for the visit and was not all that interested but now we are in the mix. Still see him as a long shot but there's always hope I guess.

Take the first to commit. Just like they were selling him on them need a HS DT in the class, no doubt they have been selling the same thing to Brown. For all we know Brown sees Daniels commit and he is AU bound. You can't slow play Daniels as TX, A&M, and possibly OSU would take him right now. First one in gets the spot. Fill needs, then worry about the rest.

He better. If he takes lesser players than he can get the mobs will out in force if he loses games. Win or else pretty much. The fans don't want to hurt feelings and don't want 3 stars. Butch can't croot with Saban waaa. He better take the best ones that want to come. If we think he's mean but he wins no biggy. If he takes less talented guys because he don't want to be cut throat and loses games, he gets fired.

Some Texas CBs for him today..looks like we are going to miss out on him and Woods(GT) so that would leave Kongbo and Bailey
