DeLaSalle if ya'll don't know is one of the most storied and highly successful national high school powerhouses around .. I have a lot of friends that live all around the Concord area and I can tell you they follow high school football along with DeLaSalle like SEC folks follow our teams ... 2 losses in a season and they're ready to jump off bridges at DeLaSalle ...

I am not sure about the brother thing! Heath was good but Benji was only serviceable! Aaron was good but Zack was??? Reggie was good but Raleigh was not as good.

Just because one is exceptional doesn't mean the younger will be also.

Zack>Austin...That's assuming you got the name wrong.

Yes in the early 2000's De La Salle won like 150 games in a row in Cali. They even have a movie about it coming out. When The Game Stands Tall

Interesting fact if I remember it correctly. Behind De La Salle for the nation's longest winning streak was Maryville HS. When De La Salle finally lost, Maryville was the owner of the nation's longest winning streak.....for roughly 24 hours. They lost to Hillsboro the following day in the state championship game.

My wife's grandfather was a coach at Woodlands HS in the Bay Area. That school honors him because they beat De La Salle. They don't lose, and if they do, it's a failure.

There's actually a movie coming out this Fall about De LaSalle. I believe they won 151 in a row before they finally loss. "When the Game Stands Tall" is the name of the movie. I thinks it's about players, coaches and the community after they finally lose. :hi:
