'17 CA DT/OL Jalen McKenzie

All I want is to see "Commit" behind his name. Then we can all say LT of the future - check.

He looks taller than that already. I'd put him around 6'5.5" and he has a very nice wingspan. Would not be surprised at all to see this kid at around 6'6" 315 going into his senior season.

Agreed...I just edited my post because I found 6'6" and 305 now. He's gonna be a monster.

Any word on how/why Jalen's case was any different than Kahlil's? Not that I'm worried about it, really, as his body has a year less wear-and-tear. Just curious.

I suppose transferring your senior year makes it more difficult. I'm not sure though. I know Kahlil had to prove through his appeal that he wasn't transferring for anything other than academic reasons and he didn't win. I'm not positive on the rules in his district in CA though.

No he played... Think he sat out 5 or so games for his transfer penalty

So why did his older brother get socked for the whole season? If public schools have ANY nuts, the next player that transfers to De La Salle and the like gets the same treatment demanded...unless they're think tank candidates, they're ALL football reasons for transferring...wish nothing but failure for those scumbags.

It's also worth noting that Kahlil's younger brother, sophomore Jalen McKenzie, has started at right tackle the last several games after having to sit out because of his transfer and he's picking up a good deal of interest right now.

McKenzie is an intriguing prospect for a multitude of reasons. First, his size is fantastic at 6-foot-5 and 288 pounds, especially since he's only a sophomore. Second, he's the brother of five-star Kahlil McKenzie and the son of Reggie McKenzie, the Oakland Raiders general manager, so he understands the dedication it takes to be great. He's far from a polished offensive tackle, but he blocks hard, uses his strength well and opens holes. The younger McKenzie is on his way.

How much does Stokes weigh now? The legendary photo has him thinner than Shawn Bradley.

I know he's young, but is he going to have the frame for OL?

He has added plenty of weight in his recent film. Kind of awkward though. He is a project right now.
