Alexander commited to Dooley. Different day and age for UT football. He may not stick, but Butch has a good track record of keeping who he wants.

Boom! And I've noticed a trend, speed. We may be fielding the fastest recruiting class in the nation. Add that speed to all the big nasties. Another BOOM! Open up a hole in the trenches and we gone. Get pressure on the QB who throws the ball up for grabs, we gone again with a pick six.

I'll be real honest here board. We are approaching the game differently this year and for me the excitement and anticipation is mounting with each precarious recruit.

Cue the Butch gets it gif!

BOOM again!

Talent wise, I am pumped about this pick up but that last line in his tweet scares me.

Also, this is the first year since Butch got here that I have no idea what is going on in recruiting. We have 21 commits already. Where else do we need commits? OL, RB and safety? Another DL? I'm lost lol

I hope this sticks. This guy is not even rated that lowly but is still underrated. Get Chandler and our rb class is a success.

Makes you wonder why he made the statement in the first place. How are you feeling about this guy? Seems talented to me but why take another 3 star so early with all the talent left on board?

I think he probably got concerned with there being no spot if he decided to choose UT. I don't think he was really ready to commit. He'll still take visits. Kid is talented. Offer list(if legit) is great. I get the feeling there may be something else to this one going on behind the scenes. Other schools in a wait and see situation kind of thing.

Would he be in my class? Probably not. But I also think the kid could play in the SEC. If he sticks, could prove to be a good get.

I feel like he was just trying to make it clear that he still wants to take all his visits. Which is not that abnormal. It's just a weird way to phrase it all. He probably is committed in his mind. But I don't think he's any more likely to flip than any other commit we have at this point. This class is filling up quick and we know there's gonna be a ton of turnover. I'm excited to see how it all shakes out. I'm not feeling that negative about our recruiting like a lot of folks seem to be. Still an eternity to go. This has been a great week.

Also boom.
