'17 FL WR D.J. Matthews (FSU Commit)

Makes it seem like he is already committed.

I could see Jimbo leaving, easier schedule at FSU but he may still have some property or house around Baton Rouge. Plus, it's the SEC, and maybe he wants the challenge. Both states have great recruits, and he has even more connections in Florida now. I see the benefit of playing only 1 good squad in Clemson every year, Lamar Jackson will be gone from L-Ville, Petrino is a good coach, they'll be legit contenders every couple years. Also, one loss SEC team will go over a one loss ACC team all day. Money for him would be the same at both schools, maybe little more for his Asses at LSU

Swamp Donkey is going to LSU as the OC?!?!?!

Interesting

Just like we been saying all along:

Just Win Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Need to be ready for Georgia. They will be hyped and ready to go all out on us. We better not come out flat and playing like crap in the first half this game.

Me and Coach Z gone shock the World I promise

Top-100 wide receiver D.J. Matthews of Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Fla., who has been committed to the Seminoles for more than two years, told GoVols247 on Thursday that he’s planning to take an official visit to Tennessee the weekend of Oct. 15 to attend its home game against Alabama, and sources said Matthews has continued to show legitimate interest in the Vols in recent weeks.
Some are skeptical of just how serious the 5-foot-11, 160-pound Matthews’ interest in Tennessee might be, but he made a post on his Twitter account Thursday that suggested that the Vols and wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni clearly are on his mind.
“Me and Coach Z gone shock the World I promise,” Matthews tweeted.

DJ recruiting Azzanni to FSU? Lol

LSU's future is a curiosity. FSU's future isn't all that important, as well...at least to us. The highlights on this kid show a serious baller; one which is about as sure-fire a receiver as there is in the 2017 class. That offer list speaks volumes and he's on the cusp of picking up his 5th *. I suppose somebody's shown him some footage of Misters Dormady and Guarantano, et al. Watching Byrd and Jennings and PW scampering into the checkerboard in Bristol and especially against the gayduhs, then imagining a revved up throw game next year and beyond...well? Hey. Maybe if Louisville lays one on clempson, the tee pole may be longing for oranger pastures. C'mon aboard, young man! AMIRIGHT?

This kid killed it at the opening.

Would be a great addition.

He reminds me of a smaller Calvin Ridley. Same type of body control and quickness.

May be one that Butch is keeping on hold to make a public announcement for when we need a bit of positive news, or maybe Matthews wants to do it in person on his visit for the Bama game. Just a guess, not an insider by any means.
