'17 FL WR D.J. Matthews (FSU Commit)

I don't give a butt what this kid decides to do. We need LBs and DBs

Did you watch the opening?

He was the most impressive wide receiver there. Showed incredible explosiveness, body control, and hands.

He reminds me of a slightly smaller Calvin Ridley.

This is a big time player.

He definitely is big time. Probably one of the reasons we are likely out of it for him. He is probably rick rolling us.

Gonna probably be 7-6 at halftime they just said that 25 of the ESPN 300 are on the field tonight

I'd rather hit our needs. That's why I dont give a butt. I'm not saying he isn't a good player.

i mean we're going to get WR commits regardless, why not just have them be 4 stars? Going after this guy makes complete sense since Malone will be gone after next year. Need to keep that pantry full. Getting a guy like him or Holloman would be fantastic even if it isn't a glaring need.

Also, I don't know this since I'm not one of the coaches obviously, but I still think Byrd will be moved to CB next year since that's his natural position, a glaring need and he is REALLY GOOD there. So getting some good WRs this year to add to Malone, Jennings, Smith, Johnson, Calloway and Williams would be big. Also let's remember we get Vincent Perry back next year, who is a great talent as well.

"Antonio Brown" the name that will never be forgotten by coach Z for years to come lol his only pride and joy sheesh

He's got more though (Mike Thomas, Zeke)

Ehhhh.

1) Ezekiel Elliot is a RB. Not a WR
2) I had to look up who Mike Thomas even was. Ha (granted, I barely pay attention to the NFL anymore)
3) They're both new. Maybe in a couple years, Azzani can add a couple of players to his brag list.

To clear it up, it's Michael Thomas (Keyshawn Johnson's nephew) who played for Urbs at OSU. Mike Thomas was a WR from Southern Miss in the same draft class last year. Michael plays for New Orleans and is killing it as a rookie. Mike plays for LA Rams and hasn't done much.

Urbs also has Jets WRs, Jalin Marshall (rookie) and Devin Smith (injured) to point to, but neither are making a big impact in the NFL yet playing behind Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, and Quincy Enunwa.

But also, Urbs was head coach at Florida for several years, and now has been at OSU for a few years. Both schools where big time talent flocks to. Top recruiting classes are the norm.

Not saying Urbs isn't a good coach. He is. Just saying he has had a ton more talent and opportunity to coach talent than a lot of coaches

When does Azz get to start counting JJ? The kid is making big time game winning plays. That's impressive for a kid that just started playing WR last year. I'm starting to believe the problem is not so much Azz being a bad coach, but the players being too soft. We need a whole WR corp full of JJ types.

Oh, I wasn't disagreeing with you. More or less just clearing up which "Mike" (Michael) Thomas was in discussion, and pointing out the other pro WRs from OSU in Urb's time as coach. It isn't all that impressive a list to be honest (at WR), even going back to Florida IMO.

Riley Cooper and he can always just say he coached Tebow. He's got a lot of players to just throw out there. Braxton Miller is another new one.
