'17 FL WR Jacquez Jones (UT signee)

I couldn't see Tee or any of our commits starting next year. I think it's Malone, Jennings, and Byrd in the slot. I just can't see a freshman beating out any of those guys.

Byrd will be a CB next year and Tee will have a place to play. Easy solution. Both the offense and defense gets better.

I'd keep Jacquez. Tee is talented, but he's not gonna outwork Jacquez, Callaway or Johnson IMO. I don't see Tee's work ethic. I know those mentioned are gonna work to eat. Tee doesn't seem hungry to me.

Tee is a good kid. Very well thought of around the oak ridge coaches and teachers. They also run a wingT offense, so they don't throw the ball around as much.

What the hell are you basing this on??

Where have you seen this?

Wait until Spring practice is over and see where he is playing. Defense wins championships and he is a better CB than any one else ion the team next year. On defense, he will play every defensive play, while on offense he may touch the ball 8-10 times a game. We have over WR who can play the game , but not other CBs that do the job.

Wouldn't trade this kid for Tee???

Well, there's a solid chance that Byrd is moved to defense, I think. He hasn't really established himself at WR and we're obviously hurting at DB, which is where most teams projected him. That said, even if Byrd stays on offense, he played well but not so well that he couldn't get beaten out.

I'm not saying it isn't possible. I wouldn't complain if he were moved. He would be great there too in my opinion. I just think way too many people are assuming he'll be moved without any evidence.

I think Evan Berry may go to offense and Byrd to defense. Berry had a play on offense before he was hurt.

I'm not assuming he will get moved but I sure am hoping that he will.

I'm just glad he's on our team. He will be a beast on either side of the ball. He could be the shutdown corner that everyone wants, but I would be happy with a Percy Harvin type player on offense, and I do think he has that type of ability.

I would love to have Tee be here where he belongs. I really don't think he is that much better than Murphy however.
