Oh, no doubt. I just hope he's wised up. Staff additions have been all positive so far.
Yes. He learnt to take control then.
Funny how our receivers played better with a smaller rotation. Butch is learning
He learned loyalty is overrated and he had to work daily with the group to see if what he was being told was what was going on. Butch can't micromanage each position group. When he did, we had breakout seasons throwing the ball.
I think Butch learned that he better find SEC caliber assistants. I think our linebackers will play and be coached much better this year also. No one wants to be the weakest link. Thig knew he was safe as long as Martinez, Mahoney and Azzani were all there. Thig can recruit and coach. I think his fire will be back big time.
Or they just got better as did our QB and play calling principles. I'm sure it helped but let's not act like that was our magic formula for improvement
Ohio st is out there pitching 6 man rotations to guys like trey Knox as a reason to get quick playing time vs other schools so it can work to have bigger rotations if talent is there although it's different to rotate several elite guys over rotating your stars for average guys like we had first few yrs

i honestly had no clue, but JT Barrett threw for 400 less yards than Dobbs.
