This guy and Palmer seemed like the most likely of our freshmen WRs to be able to contribute this season (though I do really like Palmer and think he's underrated).

Wish they'd both made it in earlier. Now that we're doing 7on7s in yhthe summer, this month they'll miss is even more valuable.

I have no idea what the heck I was doing the other day, Jones is definitely not a project IMO. For some reason I thought I was in the Thaxton thread..lol. One too many bong hits back in the day I guess..

No worries a lot of people haven't seen his film only his star rating. I don't know why but I got the feeling he will be an explosive play maker early and often. We shall see!

No you don't understand...I thought we were talking about Ryan Thaxton..Lol. For some reason I thought I was in his thread. I've been a JJ fan since I first saw his film months ago.

Well yeah, but ideally we'd have 1-2 freshmen WRs able to push for a little PT. This will just make that a little less likely.

Not the end of the world since WR is somewhere or depth looks pretty good on paper anyway. Just something to keep half an eye on.

a little bit of summer time was not going to make that big of a difference. We will have freshmen wrs contribute this year, book it.

The extra month of S&C would be valuable and likely make for a somewhat smoother camp transition.


I don't see any freshmen contributing much more than we saw from last year's group. Though the Smith situation may create more of an opportunity for somebody.

He reminds me a lot of Latrell Williams who I also think can be a really good player for us. Both could do damage as slot recievers for us.

The best thing I like about this guy is how physical he is for his size. Put some more good weight on him and yikes.

Got speed for days too. And he's got that thing you can't teach, like Butler, he's mean. He means business
