High School was prepared to choose Tennessee coming off his official visit with the Vols the final weekend before signing day, but with their class effectively at capacity, they simply had no room for him. Pouncey, a former Notre Dame commitment, ended up signing with Texas, but if things had gone differently down the stretch, it’s entirely possible that he could have been a part of Tennessee’s class.
