Not all the time. With 3 stars, you have to look at the offer list and this recruit has a pretty good one. Bembry is a keeper

"The defense welcomes new coordinator Sean OSullivan, who was previously the linebackers coach for Westminster, which won a state championship last season. The unit will be led by senior defensive back Marquez Bembry, who is committed to Tennessee.
Hes one of the best players in the state. It was obvious last year that teams were running away from him, Dabbs said. Were trying to build depth around Marquez and put people in better positions on our defense. Were a lot bigger as a team this season."
Bembry added, Were hungry and motivated to knock off any team that stands in our way.
RCThe situation is similar for three-star athlete Marquez Bembry, who has been committed to Tennessee since March. He said he still pretty solid and his commitment to the Vols, but Southern California and Ole Miss still are staying in contact with him. He said he's also still hearing some from Georgia and Florida, and he's planning to visit Ole Miss at some point. He said he's not sure how many official visits he might take, but he's looking into whether he can be an early enrollee, and he's already planning to be back in Tennessee for its home games against Florida and Alabama this season.
I've talked with some people who have been pretty impressed with Bembry in recent months, and he definitely looked good physically today. He said he is now 6-4, 210 pounds, and he expects to play a few different positions for his team this season, including defensive end and wide receiver.

Looks like some early bumps/drops from the new Rivals update are starting to show up already...Bembry went from a 5.5 to a 5.6...I always keep an eye on things like this because Rivals is notorious for bumping one guy in a significant way (i.e. 3 star to 4 star) then dropping 2-3 of our other guys in ways that don't stick out as much (i.e. 5.7 to 5.6 and so on)...the end result being we don't gain much if anything in our total point score
