'17 GA ATH Marquez Bembry (UT signee)

That's impossibly implausible..and redundantly redundant.

At this point...this is not a good thing. We are surfing a tsunami of meh, while UGA is hotter than Dany T roasting Khals...sorry for the obscure reference, I'm a Got nerd what can I say :)

UGA is putting together a great class. One 5*, eight 4*, and only six 3*. Their avg player ranking is higher than Alabama.

"I’m feeling pretty good about my commitment, but I’m still listening to other colleges and what they have to offer," Bembry said. "I’m just keeping an open mind. I think it’s the right thing to do because everyone has a pitch. If I was a coach, I’d want an athlete to hear my pitch, so I try to put myself in their shoes. That lets me open up myself.”

On possibly following Floyd and Carter:

“The relationship with me and Georgia is pretty cool," Bembry said. "I went up there for their camp, and I liked it. They treated me well, and the showed me around campus. They have great facilities. I was with Coach (Glenn) Schumann, but they think I’d be more of a Lorenzo Carter or Leonard Floyd type of guy. They want me to rush and a drop back into coverage.”

That the Bulldogs would compare him to two of their top talents from recent years definitely caught the 6-foot-3, 210 pound defender's attention.

“It’s great, because I’d be following two guys who are tremendous athletes," Bembry said. "One went to the Chicago Bears, so why not follow a great path? Who knows where Lorenzo could go? Those are two great guys to follow.”

Bembry admits that there are other factors working in favor of the Bulldogs.

“I picked up the offer in March or April," he said. "It meant a lot, because you know you’ve got the support from the people in-state, and it’s not too far from home. It’d be easy for family to come see you."-Rivals

Sounds to me he is just being polite, he did say they will get an OV.

I wonder why Georgia, who has such a stellar class, want to come after such a low ranked player? I mean obviously all he would do is hurt their recruiting average score. Man Smart and his staff must not know what they are doing. Same with ol butter teeth.
