Laser timed???????????????? Or are we talking hand watch?????

I only ask because I don't believe you.

Well they've been timed by coaches and combines in the region. They've run under 4.4 at all the camps they've attended. So don't believe me. Auburn, Troy and Miss. State in particular kinda have the times documented. And we've got video of them running 4.34 and 4.33 at a combine. Forgot I have to lie though since it's volnation. 😎😎😎😎😎

SN: To kill the why weren't they recruited highly talk, they didn't weigh a lot before this offseason. Just started packing weight on them and it was late in the process for it. One is a junior though with decent D-1 offers. Coming back off a knee injury he suffered late in the playoffs.

I didn't time them..... Coaches at camps are timing them.... Will they run these times at 180-190lbs is the question. Really was talking more on playing styles than talking kids up that run fast. But they are fast and everyone around here knows it. Both the seniors are running track this Spring.

The first kid is good didn't get to see the other ones... They are pretty technically sound there are some things that could be tweaked but I know you know what they are and am sure probably working on it... They run a lot of cover 3? Did a good job with that kid (the one I got to see) where they raw when you got them or were they kinda polished?

All are talented and still somewhat raw. The first kid plays under WRs in Cover 3 to bait QBs. It's a no no but he dominated with his talent. He's got a crazy vertical too. And is a real 6'0 CB. Didn't get his grades right until last semester. Teams missed on him. He's got silly potential. Weighed 151lbs throughout that clip. What scared some coaches off. He's a dominant CB though. Flat out dominated every week no matter who he played.

2nd kid needs weight but plays press nose to nose almost all game. Teams didn't test him much. Gave up one TD in man coverage and that was to Nico Collins on a jump ball (6'5 vs 5'9). Has a 37inch vert right now. Weighed 150lbs so it scared coaches.

Last kid shut Nico down in the playoffs. He's a bit thicker than the other two weight wise. Hurt his knee late in the year. I get him back in the Summer if I'm not in Nashville. 😎😎😎😎😎

Just read on Scout that Shamburger is over 19 years old right now. That means he will be a 20 year old freshman. Got to be one of the oldest freshman since the Kelly Washington days. I believe Washington was a 23 year old freshman.

The story still makes defensive back Shawn Shamburger laugh. James Shamburger gave his young son his first football helmet. The gift resulted in an in house tackle that left Shawn's mother, Victoria, calming both father and son down.

At the end of this month, Shamburger will move to Rocky Top to fulfill his dream and to honor his father. James Shamburger passed away when Shawn was just 9 years old. “I just tried not to focus on it,” Shamburger said of dealing with his father's passing. “I tried not to focus on the fact that he's gone. I put my mind in different places. I had to come to terms with it. He was the one that put me into football.”

After his father passed, Shamburger's mom pulled her son off the football field as they dealt with James' passing. “She took me out when I was in the 4th grade. I wanted to play but didn't want to push the issue. It was a tough time for all of us,” Shamburger said.

As a 9th grader, Shamburger returned to the game he loves and quickly realized his love was going to be a part of his future. “My 9th grade year, I returned to football. They pulled me up to varsity and started 4 games. My sophomore year, I had a better year and made some noise. Colleges started calling, but I realized I had a chance my freshman year,” Shamburger said.

But the end of his senior year, Shamburger had offers from around the country and was one of the most sought after defensive backs. After a heated recruiting battle, Shamburger decided to make his future home in Knoxville.
