'17 GA LB Jaquan Henderson (Former UT commit)

He going to gt. just committed

I think the staff was holding on to him in hopes of getting his teammate the wide receiver. They not gettin him, I'm guessing this loss doesn't hurt too much. And definitely people available to fill a spot.

I didn't know GT had any fans. What's next, a fan of Iowa State going to come in here next?

And pardon me for wanting to build a program with recruits that have good offer lists and/or lots of stars.

But, if MockingVol and Bruin are right, we are ok at OLB now with Reid and Page and now we can get some guys at other positions.

I've no problem with that ambition. I do have a problem with automatically discounting players' ability based solely on their ranking/offer list, though I do think offer lists can be an indication of coaches' thoughts on a player. Sometimes we seem to be on the forefront of a lot of players. Our scouting department seems to be better than most when it comes to discovering underrated/unknown players, so I think they have earned the benefit of doubt.

Guess he decided he doesn't want to lose to Vandy... Oh well, see you guys in the dome.

Except paint doesn't try to take out your knees, but I get your point.

A haphazardly placed paint can could maybe. Or spilled paint. Or faulty scaffolding. But I digress.

You're right. My hope for that game is that we get ahead early, rest all starting DL, and stay healthy.

Lol, good points

Most of you know the story. I grew up a GT fan and married into a Vol family over 25 years ago. With that said, Tech had a good year last year and beat VT as well. They don't recruit the talent like UT normally does but have a good system and recruit to it. They have a great history and don't let the idiot poster who just came on here represent the entire fan base. I hate that GT and UT play the first game this year. I always thought if they played, it would be clear who would benefit the most from a win with what kind of season they were having. Of course, I will be pulling for UT because I think so much of the Vols direction with Jones hinges on a good season next year and do not want to start a search for a new coach.

I am a donor and live in Tennessee now for longer than Georgia. Most real Tech fans know football and the history of it and of UT. Just ignore the bozo. Also, I think UT will have no trouble Sept. 4.

Ga. Tech also has maybe the greastet legacy with Swilling committed and add Henderson, expect, at least 3 years of superb LB player. I wish them the best of luck, except against the mighty Vols in the 1st gane in the new stadiun. Would love to see the triple option slice and dice FSU, Clemson, UNC and UGA.

Btw,wasn't Pat Swilling on the 90 shared NC team with Colorada?

No...he was already with the Saints. Rookie year was 85 or 86 I think.
