'17 GA LB Mo Burnam (former UT commit)

I just realized that 247 actually has a decommit page for every team...I found it really interesting to look back and some of the decommits we've had over the years

I hear that stuff every year and then these kids 'miraculously' make it on to campus at another school. Remember BJ Emmons?

Do I remember correctly that some years ago, Cheek made the admittance standards even higher for athletes than what the SEC required?

That's not what he was talking about. During the Dooley era, admissions was playing hardball with the football program and putting us at a disadvantage.

Yes but as I recall that was only a Tenn thing and not a SEC thing. It has nothing to do with the math class

Nobody mentioned the math class except you.

The guy is talking about UT having higher standards than other SEC schools. Our admission office needed to be slapped around a few years ago.

Another thing that I believe Hart rectified but won't get credit for by our fans.

Well unless he edited it out I must be losing my mind. My appologies as I swore the post mentioned the math class. Carry on.

We aren't Bama who has the SEC and NCAA in their back pocket. Unfortunately, not an equal playing field.

Once we had 5 LBs committed, it was only a matter of time till one of them would be told to find a new home. Good luck Mr Burnam.
