I like his film. Great closing speed, can play the run and the pass. Will get stronger with time, training, and good diet - I trust this staff to get him on a good plan. How strong is his competition?

He definitely fits the rangy, athletic S/LB hybrid that this staff loves to recruit.

Really interested to see what happens with LB recruiting this year.

Wooten, Foster, Marchiol, Taylor, among others, are still in play and we now have two guys, neither with steller offer lists (presently).

Anyone have a guess for how many we take?

The competition he's playing next year is reasonably strong. They open up with Tucker and also play Lassiter who is usually decent. They don't play any of the other Cobb powerhouses next year (N Cobb Mceachern or Walton). I tried to see who they played this past year but couldn't find a schedule.

How about watch the kid's tape or perhaps look at anything other than his star rating. It might help you not look quite so stupid.

That's a fair enough point. But are you a better evaluator of talent than those who have rated him a 3 star? I personally trust the staff and think we'll be fine in the end, but I'll admit to being disappointed if we come out of such a big weekend with one 3 star commit.

Well, you shouldn't be disappointed then because we have two and both will likely be bumped eventually.

dont get it. congrats kid.

ill just say it. we went from getting elite in staters, during a banner in state year. lets take *** projects. We're close. we gotta get the big boys. Alabama's been in trouble in past. Let's go Butch!
