Nothing wrong with fans having HIGH STANDARDS. Elite programs get elite players. Maybe fans with low/no standards and mediocrity should go root for vandy, ky, mizzo.

It will all work out, some kids will get bumps and we will sign plenty elite players. I understand wanting 4-5 star players. We will be fine and still sign an elite class it's nearly a year until signing day. Lots of 3 stars become great players and Butch and company scout talent really well it seems. I still expect top 7 class. The big names will and highly rated kids will commit once we dominate this year. Higgins Gibbs Chandler Akers Stevens are all interested plus last year at this time nobody mentioned Tyler Byrd and he ended up with us. Every year people freak out then we still sign a good class.

Yea.....but we have seen in the past how the lesser talented decommit yr after yr

Who said anybody was accepting low standards and mediocrity. Nationdom isn't guilty of HIGH STANDARDS. He's nothing more than a star gazer and thinks Butch should just subscribe to the recruiting services to decide who he offers.

Exactly, we will sign our fair share of top talent. I hate how the top rated kids play the game all year then go exactly where everyone has known they will go since summer. Part of that is ESPNs fault because they treat the uncommitted kids like celebrities so they can get higher ratings when they commit on tv.

Edit: of course it is awesome when a kid picks UT on national television.

He stated that the prospect has no other SEC offer. He has a right to question.

Forget stars.....look at who covets the prospects

Sometimes that logic can have holes. TN has taken commitments in the past few years from players no one knew of, then they blow up like DCG.

I will trust coaches and Bobs on evaluations

The fans that are complaining are mediocre. They complain and complain. Let the coaches do their job. A lot of kids don't camp, hence the star rating.

Complaining or disagreeing is part of being a fan. It's part of the nature that has and always be there.

You have never complained about ANYTHING titans ever done? Or you suck up all the losing? I hope titans get good again

while on one hand it stinks to not be getting the big ones. at least we got a good player. this gets us out of the dry spell.
