'17 GA WR Jeremiah Holloman

This is far from over. As a Dawg, obviously I hope he goes to UGA, but he says he has no leaders, has said he likes UT and Auburn, said his coach doesn't care for Georgia...its still wide open.

We need Eason to come in and be awful, but its hard to see that happening

Don't matter. If Eason is in, Barnett is going to be coming around, he's coming around, and he's sideways, coming around, and BAM! Right where the deodorant goes! Only word to describe it is vaporized!

Holloman did a periscope last night and was asked why his coach was pushing UT and AU, he responded with he didn't know why his coach doesn't like GA.

Those around that school says it is BC the coach wants Ga after his RB, he wanted them to offer last year, apparently the kid wanted an offer bad. Kid didn't get it and has committed to Michigan, kid is Kurt Taylor. Coach got his feelings hurt Ga wouldn't take his advice to offer.

Btw, same source is saying all the attention is going to Hollomans head. It would make sense, he was an unknown just 4 months ago. Hopefully his parents (who I hear are great) keep him grounded. Weird how WR is the position that has the most attention getters.

The one weakness for UGA next year will be OL but not for long with Sam Pittman being there. If you can't keep the QB clean then it's a moot point how good he is. Also knowing Shoop, there will be more than just Barnett in the backfield.

I wish we could trade BigVolDaddy for LSU-Dad.

I seem to remember two crucial fumbles back in 2012 that happened under a Pittman-coached OL.

He's a good coach but we have a good one too and playmakers to go with him.

A while back Holloman tweeted something along the lines of "am I the only three-star that has 47 offers?!" and our own OL commit Tucker screen-shot it and told him to get over himself.

Passing offense yes

Gotcha. I think the first 2 years we didn't have the QB or oline for a legit passing attack. And I think until a QB comes in that can throw accurately consistently we won't see the passing attack advance. Butch's Cincy teams threw it around well if I'm not mistaken. Personally I don't care if we do or not as long we are running the ball the way we did last year.

Multiple 5* backs isn't something we've had very often. Will be tough to always have that kind of backfield.

True. The oline run blocking really took a leap last year too and I think we'll be an above average running team going forward no matter the RB. Having said that, when Dormady or Guarantano takes the job, I think we'll see a more consistent passing attack.

I do as well. If the defense has to worry about you tossing one beyond 15 yards, it will open up the running lanes.

When the WR play steps up we'll see a good passing game. Pass play calls have to be better. Versus Northwestern we finally used Play Action on early downs. TE gashed them and opened the running game completely up.
