'17 GA WR Jeremiah Holloman

Holloman did a periscope last night and was asked why his coach was pushing UT and AU, he responded with he didn't know why his coach doesn't like GA.

Those around that school says it is BC the coach wants Ga after his RB, he wanted them to offer last year, apparently the kid wanted an offer bad. Kid didn't get it and has committed to Michigan, kid is Kurt Taylor. Coach got his feelings hurt Ga wouldn't take his advice to offer.

Btw, same source is saying all the attention is going to Hollomans head. It would make sense, he was an unknown just 4 months ago. Hopefully his parents (who I hear are great) keep him grounded. Weird how WR is the position that has the most attention getters.

Kurt Taylor transferred to Grayson HS a few weeks ago so the Newton HS coach won't have to fret about Taylor's offer list. Taylor is one of my favorite RBs in Georgia. Kid is built really solid and seems to have a great attitude. Unfortunately he is short in stature for an SEC RB, and Georgia has bigger RBs higher on their board. Can't wait to see Taylor ball out for Grayson this year.

This is far from over. As a Dawg, obviously I hope he goes to UGA, but he says he has no leaders, has said he likes UT and Auburn, said his coach doesn't care for Georgia...its still wide open.

It's never over as long as Auburn is in the mix. Remember Slayton in 2015 and Kyle Davis in 2016. Don't be surprised if you eventually see a picture of Holloman at the infamous "Cabin"...ala Derrick Brown.

He's still saying he's wide open. He's going to LSU in a few weeks for a visit. Says he will make a surprise visit to UT soon.

From his twitter:

.@Leonard90Flo to 1st cousin/standout WR:
“Every time we speak he says ‘Go to #UGA.’"

Sounds like a solid UGA lean here. Not that CBJ can be counted out in recruiting until the papers are signed.

UGA and Clemson are the hottest schools in the country right now it seems

Follow the leader mentality: "If all the cool recruits are going somewhere, I want to go there, too."

The question is, will all these "follow me" recruits stick when the season starts to unfold?

Kirby is doing what Butch did. He's selling a vision, people were probably wondering why we were recruiting so well after going 5-7.

Yeah it happens everywhere. Usually tho it falls off if you struggle. Uga will always get solid classes but i think they struggle on the field and im not convinced kirby will be that great.

Kirby and his hype of being next satan...but uga has always drawn talent of ga. Not being negative but butch gonna have work harder than he has since he got here to keep talent level up i dont see it slowing for uga unless they have about 3 or 4 years of just 8 wins seasons or less. Those thst keep dismissing uga recruiting are in a little of denial

Fant, Jones, Payton would be decent. Need to find one more by NSD.

I don't see the need in taking so many WR this year. We have 5 in last years class with Byrd playing on that side of the ball. Blanc is the only WR we graduate and he's not even worth counting. Bring in 3 and that would give us 12 on the roster.

Yeah, should have explained. The find one more is not so much a take, but just one interested around NSD in case Payton isn't good to go qualifying wise.

RB is by far the biggest need in this class and QB is a bigger need than many want to believe. It was just 3 years ago we had to play Dobbs as a true FR after Worley and Peterman both went down with injuries. In 2014 they were the only 3 we had with Ferguson leaving the program. We enter next year with 3 on the roster assuming we don't take one this cycle and no one leaves.

I think it's clear they want a QB in 2017, just not sure if they take a serviceable type guy or use the spot for another position as it appears the better options are unlikely.

I'm still for taking Cole Copeland. Kid can run the offense. Also I see him as an asset for the practice field as he's a handful for the defense.

But, I like a rotation of 19 WRs....just need 7 more.

Agree with RB and Chandler looks like a stud, need 2. As for WR, 12 is normally the min you want especially with the injuries that has plagued this unit. RB Carter should come off the board tonight and eliminate UGA with Akers.

DT is way up there too.

Sounds like UGA wants Swift and Carter as RBs, and that will fill their spots. OSU is the biggest competition for Akers. UT should be able to land Chandler. With Dobbs, Hurd and Kamara likely leaving after this year, it would be prudent to take 3 RBs this year, especially since we took one less than hoped last year.

Wouldn't surprise me if UT takes a walk-on QB this year.

I wouldn't count us out for this kid yet. I think he has the potential to be as good as Tee.

He's stated he likes the staff, so we'll see. I think he's going to hold off on his commitment for awhile.

Trust me, when we start having success on the field, these recruiting "woes" are gonna fall by the wayside.

Carter just committed to them, they will be #2 in the rankings. If OM finally gets hammered, the OSU analyst isn't convinced Akers is a bucknut, could be LSU vs TN for Akers.
