'17 IN QB Hunter Johnson (Former UT Commit 8/23/15) (Clemson commit)

We're stacking up elite QBs in Knoxville like cord wood.

Funny how Dobbs is the least celebrated of everyone we have on campus or on the horizon and we all have confidence he has the intangibles to lead us to the promised land.

Bright future, orange train, booms will be heard.

Vol QB commits?
'16 Guarantano
'17 Johnson
'18 Lawrence

This could not actually happen could it? :dance2:

In other random news, I also was told PW would be green-lighted by tomorrow evening.

I heard this morning he would be practicing Thursday and I live no where close to Knoxville.

I guess that gives me "outsider" status.

not true. Dobbs was a 4 star QB/top 200 caliber player and an Elite 11 finalist. Dormady and Sheriron were less touted. Neither were elite 11 finalists.

Dormandy was hurt. He was really highly touted before that. no one knew how he would heal.

And apparently he's better than ever. :good!:

2013 wasn't a particularly strong year for QBs. 2015 was one of the best years for QBs in a long time

We don't know that. People love to make proclaimations that we won't have any real answers to for several years. As of right now, I think the 2013 QB class looks pretty good. Christian Hackenberg is projected to be the #1 overall pick next year. Jeremy Johnson is getting hype as a heisman finalist. Jared Goff is breaking records at Cal and a projected 1st round pick. JT Barrett had a heisman caliber season last year as a redshirt freshmen. And then we have Joshua Dobbs.

I'd say the 2013 QB class looks pretty good so far.

I swear if anyone says anything that could remotely be misconstrued as negative towards Dobbs........you just know who will be flying in to rant.

Yeah...it's not like he's going to win a HEISMAN or anything. :)

He's our effin starting QB. Why would defending him be construed in a negative light?

Sometimes I wonder if this is the Tennessee Vols fan forum? Never thought being high on our starting QB would be seen as a bad thing.

There's "high" and then there's whatever level of maniacal intoxication you're at.

fan = fanatic

I've also been driving the Jalen Hurd and Marquez North bandwagon. Haven't really seen many people having problems with that. Its only when I'm praising Dobbs that we have folks coming outta the woodwork to put a damper on it.

With the exception of maybe two people, I'm pretty sure everyone is pretty high on Josh Dobbs. You're the only one that comes out of the woodworks to scream at and bemoan people that don't have the same level of obsession that you do.

I personally love Josh Dobbs and wouldn't have anyone else leading our team at this point. You? Meh.....not so much. :hi:

It's just that your "praise" requires condemnation or shortchanging of other players. Vast majority of us know that Dobbs is our guy for the next two years...we get caught in the path of your jihad flamethrower. :w00t:

Saban and Kiffy both thought enough of QD to offer him a scholarship after watching him throw post-op.

He looks much bigger than he did in spring also

Well then the vast majority of ya'll should have no problem with me. The only folks who I have waged "jihad" against are those that are ready to annoit Dormady as the starting QB already even as an unproven true freshmen. Thats really been the only real problem I've had with anyone on here.

Everything else have been factual corrections. For example, the guy who stated earlier Dobbs was less touted than Dormady or Jones. That was not factually correct. I didn't really view that as some sort of confrontation.
