FWIW, Nixon is listed at 5-10, 180 on AWC's roster. Had 36 tackles & 5 INTs as a freshman, finished his sophomore season with 30 tackles, 6 INTs & 3 sacks. Big-play guy who returned 2 INTS for TDs (57 & 73 yards) this year, also ran back 2 of 9 KOs for scores (99 & 100 yards, both in the 1st quarter against Mesa CC; had another return in that game for 72 yards in the 3rd quarter).

Martin has one more year left and he has shown flashes. Who knows what he could do this coming season!

He's been pretty abysmal tbh. If you can't get on the field among this group of DBs that says a lot.

Not really. It's pretty clear when you get in doghouse with this staff good luck getting out. Martin was just fine his first year and helped defense become much better. Got to let talent make plays

Justin took a significant step back this year when he was on the field IMO. He seemed in the coaches doghouse for sure, but it seemed commensurate with his poor and undisciplined play when they put him out there.

just caught up with him and he is down to 2, Tennessee and South Carolina. Loved the trip and was just in awe of stadium. Spent weekend with Dobbs Sutton and Kelly. More to come.

If Martin is not in the coaches doghouse, coaches would be committing coaching malpractice. Martin has been horrible, much due to effort and basic fundamentals. It's one thing to get beat but to not know whst to do or what your basic responsibility is is inexcusable. Coaches can't play him. Watch va Tech long TD run as just an example.

A different position coach could make a lot of difference here.
