That may be true for the majority of recruits, but Willis can go to any school he wants. He can pick any situation he wants, and while of course, anything can happen, Harbaugh, Meyer, Saban, Dabo, etc, those guys don't appear to be going anywhere soon. My point is that he could pick dozens of more stable, and successful situations than UK.

I see your point, and I agree that if you're looking for stability UK football would not be the best choice.

But how stable are any of the situations you mentioned really? Saban is rumored to be going to the NFL every off-season. I don't think he sticks around down there much longer (though when they hired him I didn't think he would be there more than 5 years, so TIFWIW). If he does bounce, Dabo is a top candidate at Bama. Meyer has a history of job hopping and "heart troubles." Harbough seems to wear out his welcome everywhere he goes. I just think stability is a very rare commodity these days. I don't know that there is a single program in the country I could look at right now, and say "yeah, I think they will still have the same head coach in five years." Certainly there will be some that do, but the coaching carousel just seems to get wilder and wilder every year. Sorry for derailing the conversation.

Agreed lol.

I wish we could lock down the state and not have to worry about Damien Harris type kids.

Except Damien Harris was never going to UK. I even read somewhere that his parents weren't big UK fans either. I wouldn't consider that an huge loss when most experts had him going elsewhere. A lot of kids want to play out of state.

I understand not every instate kid will be willing to stay. I just meant highly ranked instate guys. I could rant about Harris for a long time, but I will contain myself haha. I agree though., I think he used the process a bit and played the hearts of UK. I do hope he has a chance to play this year down at bama.

That made me LAFF, LilCat. Y'all are building an OL up there. I think there is a good chance y'all land him.

For real it seems KY is putting some good OL out recently. Willis is at the same school as Landon Young, the high school I live like 5 minutes away from. Some good players in the city that need to be developed and fed into the UK program for years to come :p

"5-star OL Jedrick Wills said he will either be in Knoxville or Tuscaloosa next weekend for a visit. But, Wills said he will make it back to Knoxville this summer regardless."
