'17 KY OT Jedrick Wills

I live across the river, my hatred goes towards the university mainly, all my friends are uofl guys and that's sucks for me. I'm a superintendent for a demo contractor and see a whole lot of Louisville that people don't see, and their city govt is completely ass backwards when it comes to anything to try and improve. The university itself is a group of thugs run by thugs. There are some nice areas and fun bar scenes but honestly, Louisville is a little city trying real hard to be big and its causing major problems that alot don't see...

I went to louisville for undergrad (2010-2014).... Never had a problem there

Tennessee continues to host a plethora of big time offensive lineman in the class of 2017. Lexington, Ky., offensive tackle Jedrick Wills could be the best if not one of the best to visit Rocky Top recently and he returned north on I-75 to a good vibe about the Vols.

"It was great," Wills said. "I got to talk to coach (Butch) Jones and coach (Don) Mahoney for sure and develop a relationship with those guys. Got to spend time on campus and hang out with the other recruits and players."

Asked what his favorite part of Orange Carpet day was on Saturday and Wills took the mature approach. It wasn't the game and activities, but the one-on-one time with the staff.

"Just bonding," Wills said. "Just building that relationship and feeling that every player needs when they go to college. Tennessee is in my top ten and I'll eventually narrow things down to five and things are looking good right now."

It's important to spend time with the offensive line coach at each school to get a good feel for the environment he will face ahead. So far, Tennessee has done a nice job of showcasing veteran line coach Don Mahoney.

"Coach Mahoney and I stay in contact on twitter and message and stuff like that," Wills said. "Today was more of a face-to-face relationship and it made me feel better about things."

This marked the third time that Wills has visited Rocky Top. He plans on being back for the Alabama game this Fall. Living in the shadow of Kentucky football will continue to be a factor in his recruitment even if it's small, but he doesn't let the pressure to stay home effect him.

"I don't feel any at all," Wills said. "A lot of guys feed into the pressure, but I just take it my way and think of things through myself."

Five star offensive lineman Jed Wills told Brandon Brown of our Michigan site tonight that he has plans to visit the Vols in the upcoming months twice.

First, as an unofficial visitor for the Alabama game and again as an official visitor for the Kentucky game.

It's interesting, this summer Wills told some close to him that he was close to doing something and Bama was the team to beat. I think Bama may still be the team to beat, but Michigan has certainly helped itself here recently. But, Vols seam to be getting another shot with him.

I think many speculate that he Stoops may not be there when he would potentially arrive on campus. Probably affecting his decision.

Yep. Stoops will be gone after this year. They will probably go after a coach that gets fired from a bigger school, like Strong.
