Recruiting him to be a linebacker since we don't have any on the roster. 😂 Welcome Terrell. We're glad you chose to be a VFL!

“I picked Tennessee because I have been liking them for a while,” Bailey said. “They are a good fit for me. I think I can come in up there and do big things. “The recruiting process is pretty hectic and I just wanted to get everything over with.”

The 6-foot, 175 pound Bailey is a four-star defensive back from Marrero, Louisiana who picked the Vols over Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss to name a few. Bailey has never been to Knoxville but felt really comfortable with the Vol staff. “I have a really good relationship with coach Gillespie and coach Martinez,” Bailey said. “Coach Martinez came by to check on me in the spring and I think he is a really good DB coach. I like him and I think he's a good fit for me. And I like the way they play. I have been watching them on TV.”

“They like the way I play man-to-man defense,” Bailey said. “I'm an aggressive corner. They like the way I use my hands to separate the ball from the receiver.” Bailey did visit Mississippi State and Ole Miss over the summer and will see Tennessee most likely in December.

“The coaches were really excited when I talked to them today. I got to talk to all of them,” Bailey offered. “Coach Jones was really excited and said he couldn't wait to get me up there for a visit.”

Bailey said he was unsure whether or not he would explore any other visits. His focus now outside of his football team is his academics. “I'm trying to get into class and get it done,” Bailey said. “If I do then I can graduate early and be a mid-term enrollee.”

As soon as they do all these folks whining about his ranking will be the same ones freaking out about losing him to LSU. Never fails.

I know it is not the most important thing by any means, but I did not see a 40 time listed for him. Do you know what it is?

Boom! Nice! Can never have enough cover corners. Louisiana can churn out some good DBs.

Has he set up an OV yet?

Both CB commits from Lousiana look better than the kid in Pennsylvania to me. 😎😎😎😎

If BB is giving a CB his seal of approval, that's good enough for me. I also like us recruiting taller Cbs to match up with teams we are matched up against in the SEC.

This kid will be a pure cover corner. Great vision and anticipation. Good recovery speed. I really like the pick up.

"Bailey is a guy that we are higher on than some other people in the industry and I think that's because we had a chance to see him during the spring evaluation period. He's a physical guy and a very good cover guy and someone that fits the mold of Cam Sutton in terms of his style of play."
