'17 LA CB Terrell Bailey (UT signee)

"Bailey is a guy that we are higher on than some other people in the industry and I think that's because we had a chance to see him during the spring evaluation period. He's a physical guy and a very good cover guy and someone that fits the mold of Cam Sutton in terms of his style of play."

On the other DB's committed...

"I think Cotman is more of a receiver at the next level if he plays offense, at least based on talking to people in the college coaching/scouting world. I think most people believe his ceiling is highest there.

And Labruzza and Jackson are both kind of hybrid guys that could start off at corner but could ultimately end up at safety.

Bailey's a good pickup because of all those factors for sure."

More from Woody Wommack...

"I like him a lot. As you guys know, I'm not afraid to rank a guy as a four-star if I think he can play, regardless of offer list.

My guess would be others haven't seen much of him and ranked him low for the same reasons some of the people in this thread are complaining about. LSU recruits DBs nationally and essentially pick who they want. There are plenty of good players who are going to get out of state."

Yeah Barton Simmons has won more games than Kevin Sumerlin and Hugh Freeze combined

Was Janzen the last "CB" we signed from Bayou State. Of course he was made a safety before he got the boot and went to FCS school.

No LSU offer? How? Why? Let's hope LSU sucks enough that he's not interested if they offer but not so bad they fire Miles and hire Herman. He would jump then if they offered.....

If only we had had this guy when Arian Foster was here, maybe Arian could have had gumbo occasionally instead of tacos.
