To a stupid degree. Will be amazing how effective the QB coaching will be when we have a talented QB, as opposed to a talented athlete playing QB.

Notice catbone said at the college level, thats important. What will or will not happen in the NFL is irrelevant. The fact is Tebow was beyond dominant in college and Dak was big time.

Doesn't take a crystal ball to see that there is only so much a coach can do to develop what simply isn't there. Dobbs is an awesome person, athlete, and leader, but he doesn't have an accurate arm and probably won't ever. As much as we like to gripe about the play calling, there was a reason they were throwing short all the time.

It's also been quite instructive to see how much better DeBord is calling plays for Jelly and Kamara. Again, only so much a coach can do with those who can't...or won't.

Dan Mullen may be a QB Whisperer. He may also have simply had the luxury of starting with guys that had talent.

We're about to finish 9-3 and go to the sugar bowl and will finish with our best season in almost a decade. This is true even though we've had tons of injuries and off field drama. but this coaching staff is terrible!!!!

Nothing is set in stone yet but I believe that will happen as well. Also, this is the first time since 1994-1996, that Tennessee is bowl eligible for 3 straight years. And if we win the bowl game, it will be the first time since then that we have 3 straight bowl wins.

Dont you just love how people only like to blame the coaching staff for everything? I mean how hard is it to understand that football is a team sport that includes coaching and player execution.

You should take a look at Josh's numbers this year. I don't get the over emphasis for a QB coach. As if we don't and can't coach QB's.

Peterman still sucks and would be a terrible sec qb. Ferguson plays a joke schedule although i think he has sec talent. Dobbs is ten times better than both of them and dobbs has been developed well.

Not sure what you're watching. Peterman has developed into a very good QB.

25 TD's 12 INT's
700 yds rushing
9 rushing TD's

3200 total yds 34 total TD's with a chance to have 3500 total yds and 40 TD's before season is over. Yeah Dobbs hasn't developed one freaking bit huh?

Prescott was just as inconsistent as Dobbs at MSU. That was a big knock against him. Tebow was surrounded by all world talent.
