Lmao yeah ok. He sucks hes no better than luke del rio or danny etling. Playing sec level competition he would be horrible like no where even close to dobbs.

He has 2 more top 10 wins than Dobbs does this year

Prescott was just as inconsistent as Dobbs at MSU. That was a big knock against him. Tebow was surrounded by all world talent.

Dak had 2.5% better completion, threw far more touchdowns, threw far fewer INTs, and had a far better passer rating than Josh. But don't let those pesky facts get in your way :whistling:

Just out of curiosity were there rushing stats similar?

He's played a lot of garbage defenses in his time there as well. Just like ferguson. Can't really compare.

Dak was/is a better QB than Dobbs. He is a more talented passer. But he also had pure stinker games like Josh does sometimes. That was my point. But 2.5%...boy that's a uuuuge number.

How do you know Ferguson would not have developed well at UT if he had decided to stay and compete with Dobbs?

That's the thing...he didn't stay and develop. He quit and left, because he was scared to compete!

Keytaon Thompson continued his dominating ways Friday night and his performance has Landry-Walker (La.) High School in the Class 5A semifinals. The 2017 Mississippi State commit and 247Composite four-star quarterback will continue the postseason next week against Destrehan (La.) High School.

In Friday's 61-21 win over Parkway (La.) High School, Thompson was 17 of 25 for 251 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Thompson also added a pair of rushing touchdowns and 56 yards rushing.

Thompson is rated as the nation's No. 8 dual-threat quarterback and the state's No. 13 overall prospect by 247Sports. He is an early high school graduate and will enroll at Mississippi State in January.

In the postseason (three games), Thompson has completed 50 of 71 passes for 912 yards with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. Over that stretch he has also rushed for 282 yards and six touchdowns. During Landry-Walker's current 11-game winning streak, Thompson has accounted for 56 touchdowns.

He wasn't where he needed to be mentally (why he took a year off of football), and you kinda need that mental thing when you're a QB.

So has Josh Dobbs.

A&M just gave up 50+ to Etling
Kentucky
Missouri

Let's not try and act like the SEC is a gauntlet of top defenses. Outside of UF and Bama we haven't played a good defense
