100% Butch's fault. Not having a strength coach really showed this year.

I think strength coach is part of the problem, but I think the problems run deeper than that.... imo there are between 2-4 assistant coaches that need to go, however I think butch is determined to make it work with his guys and that will be his undoing

Incredibly talented and excellent balance but one reservation I've had about his game is how he's always the unaccounted for Ball carrier by being basically the wildcat.

Different story having to read blocks and have to maneuver around LInebackers who's 1st read in their keys is RB.

I think he can. Be great but will there be a transition period more so than say a traditional tailback, :dunno: but I could see it happening

Well, how else would you evaluate a RB other than looking at their on the field production with the quality of the opponent taken into consideration along with when in the game they got their yardage? 4th quarter garbage time doesn't have a lot of meaning, etc.

I guess if you know the game you can use the eye test to see if a player has the 'it' factor. If not you go into 'video gamer' mode and babble on about stats which can often be misleading.

Yeah, people tend to forget he's played quarterback in high school. He'll be a good RB in college, but not the immediate impact people are expecting.

You cite where he had us in his top 3. Heck people were locking him in as a Vol because of whats Hyams said.

We do this to ourselves every year thinking we have a player and then when we don't get him it's time to fire the Coach. Jeff Luc.. hell there was even a time people thought we had a chance at Leonard Fournette on signing day. It's really getting pathetic.

Yeah that was garbage. Although it was better he left. DeBord finally called another play after he was gone, instead of Hurd up the middle for 1 yard.

Not sure why so many are so upset here. We were never really in it and let's be honest the FSU brand is just light years better than ours at present and we really need an SEC east crown next year to close that gap. RB is one position we are in good shape so no worries here.

Just need to get better recruits in general, everybody keeps.saying stars dont matter and other bull**** but they sure as hell were tuned in to watch this guys decision. And now they are mad we missed on a top recruit, STARS DO MATTER IN THE SEC. I like butch but losing to muschamp and vandy killed our season and next year is big for his future at TENNESSEE and recruiting
