'17 MS RB Cam Akers (FSU commit 12/27)

👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

Insider status, confirmed.

To be fair, "Hurd up the middle for 1 yard" = "Kamara and/or Kelly up the middle for 4 or 5".
Yeah but you got 4 or 5. Hurd either was loafing or the line wasn't blocking for him. I still can't figure out why we didn't have Kamara, Hurd and Dobbs all back there at the same time. They can both catch out of backfield. They didn't use those guys right early in the year.

This is the 2nd time this has happened in the last like half hour.

1. Poster makes a definitive post.

2. I/another poster ask for proof/link to said definitive post.

3. Poster then responds asking myself/another poster to backup a definitive post that no one said.

How does this make sense? At all?

This is one of the many articles I formed my opinion with. Looks like they were right.

FSU Football: Ole Miss and Tennessee Confident They Get Cam Akers? | FOX Sports

The reason he went to FSU is that they win and he fits their offense better. Simple as that.

Also look at their NFL track record over the past few years vs UT. Also most recent NC, prestige of their school and coach vs UT or Ole Miss. Nothing to be mad about just hope that sooner rather than later it will all come together

Once again for emphasis.

We got Chandler and he fits Butch's offense. Let's get a DT, LB or D-back the can actually play early instead of a stable of RB's in an offense that runs a one RB set 90+% of the time.

Yep. Hard to ignore.

Who finished 2nd?

I believe Tennessee did. I think Tennessee had the approval of mom but dad wanted fsu. I think dad, stability and the chance to step in and play immediately were the difference.

Now that I've gotten over losing out on Cam, I have realized it was a smart "business" move on his part.

He can have video game stats against most of the ACC defenses. Run wild for 3 years, and then go make millions in the pros. Kudos, young man!

Theres about 110 weaker classes than ours, so theres that.

Means nothing. We're trying to compete with the top teams in the country, which include the best teams in the SEC. We're looking at #15 or so in the country and #7 or #8 in the conference. Unfortunately, neither are gonna be good enough to get us to where we want to be imo.
