'17 NC LB Justin Foster

If Clemson gets Higgins, Williams, Foster and Smith I quit.

They only have 11 recruits.
Feels like they've taken more than that just from us.
I would add lol but it's not really funny anymore.

It's not really that serious but I did truly expect a better start and several big names recruiting for us.

Also elite prospects want to play with other elite players.

At this point we mostly have avg to good players

Foster is one that has liked Clemson from the start. You can't blame these kids from liking a team that made the championship last season, as dirty as Clemson seems to be.

I agree about harbor breeze.. was way more fun when it was at Sports.. I go to MUSC.. started college alittle later than most.. I'm 30.. but if yall decide to start a new viewing spot I'd love to get in on that..

Whoa me and TheHound go to MUSC too! And we've gone out to harbor breeze a few times. What college and class are you in?

Callahan says it's a virtual tie now with Clemson coming on strong

Aight. I'm putting a stop to this nonsense. Anybody got a lock of Dabo's hair handy?

We should go somewhere like Black Sheep, Shelter, KSG or something like that with a better viewing option and a bit more fun to be had.

How exactly does a school "make a push" or "come on strong"?

Yes I get Clemson is recruiting him hard, but surely we are too. And we had a lead by his own admission. So what are they doing that we aren't to "make a push"? We have to be pushing as well.

Can also get a good response with the blood of a true fan. Unfortunately, I just keep catching the bandwagon fans here in Texas. Didn't find any in Florida a couple weeks ago either. Not giving up though.

(Voodoo was my favorite class in med school by the way)

I hear those Haitian medical schools have first-rate Voodoo departments.

Linebacker Justin Foster (Shelby, N.C./Crest) said he’s trimmed he’s trimmed his list of 30 offers down to seven.

The finalists including Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Stanford and Tennessee.

Foster said Tennessee still leads going into the summer.

The Crystal Ball reads 53-percent for Clemson and 47-percent for Tennessee.

Foster said he plans to visit all of his finalists this summer before making his college choice early this fall around the second game of his senior season.

He said he plans to enroll early unless he picks Stanford, who doesn't allow early enrollment.

“I’m looking for a school where I can major in Mechanical Engineering and play in a 3-4 defense so I can stay at outside linebacker,” Foster said.

The No. 1 recruit in North Carolina in the 2017 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings broke down what he likes in his finalists.

Alabama: “It’s just Alabama. It’s a winning program. They win every year. It’s a grind there.”

Clemson: “My sister went there. My whole family loves Clemson. I could play defensive end like Vic Beasley or maybe take a different route and play middle linebacker.”

Georgia: “I like that they play a 3-4 defense. They have two outside linebackers on the field at all times. Plus they have Mechanical Engineering and it’s not too far from home.”

Kentucky: “They use their outside linebackers. I like how they used Bud Dupree. He’s a guy I watch a lot. I have a good relationship with their coaches. They have a good atmosphere and I like the way they would use me in their defense.”

Notre Dame: “I haven’t been there yet but I’m looking forward to visiting there. I like how they use their outside linebackers off the edge and standing up. Plus they have good academics.”

Stanford: “They have great academics. I love how they use big outside linebackers to cover ground. They have the best education.”

Tennessee: “They would use me as a middle linebacker and on third downs I would come off the edge. They have 100,000 fans at each game. The atmosphere and fans are great.”

Foster said one school would climb into his lead group given a certain dynamic.

"If my former teammate Tre Harbison goes to Wisconsin or maybe even N.C. State I would consider them more and take a good look at them before I make my final decision,” Foster said.

Foster said he takes the ACT June 11.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation’s No. 4 outside linebacker in the 2017 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

Foster will play in the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

How old is this?

He'd be a great fit at OLB in Shoop's blitzing scheme. Hopefully he sees it that way as well. It might also mean they would drop one of the current LB commits (Not Henderson), which IMO would be a good thing.
