Kentucky: They use their outside linebackers. I like how they used Bud Dupree. Hes a guy I watch a lot. I have a good relationship with their coaches. They have a good atmosphere and I like the way they would use me in their defense.
That's interesting. I thought Stoops badly misused Dupree.
I'm confused. He says he wants to play in a 3-4 and stay at OLB. Then says at Clemson he could play DE like Beasley or change it up and play MLB and mentions we're recruiting him as a MLB. So the two schools who lead for him don't run a 3-4 and plan on using him in a position other than his "preferred" position.

hopefully we can convince him he needs to play DE though. That's where he will excel
Tom Loy's take (per Notre Dame 247):
I'm not as high on the Shelby (N.C.) Crest four-star linebacker as others. I think he's a good linebacker, but he has the chance to be a really good defensive end. He just doesn't move well enough, in my opinion, to be a good linebacker at the collegiate level. I'm not confident putting him out there and asking him to cover many athletic tight ends. His future is bright as an edge rusher, but it's up to him to come to that realization and make that decision.
