'17 NC LB Justin Foster

Love how low the excitement level is for this kid.

This kid is the next Maggitt. A perfect fit for a DE/OLB hybrid that can rush the passer from the weak side.

He's a great prospect, #1 player in NC.. stop crying about Tee, and get excited for this kid in Shoop's system.

End rant.

I'll get excited. If he commits to Tennessee.

Oh, and doesn't visit Clemson after committing.

I am not sure who Foster reminds me of from UT but its not Maggitt.

Yup
Send me a realistic likeness and a lock of hair.
Requests of method of demise also fulfilled if possible...
I'm very good :hi:

I used to say that Voodoo was my favorite class, but too many took me seriously :)

All I've seen him as in his film is a stand up pass rusher, and he seems to do it pretty well. I'm sure he could get his 40 time down to around 4.8.

Foster at 6'4, 240, probably ends up heavier after some time in S&C. Maggit left at 6'3, 247. Both pass rushers from the OLB position with limited range for run defense...

Idc what he came in at, I care what he played at. Yeah, he still reminds me of Curt.

I hear those Haitian medical schools have first-rate Voodoo departments.

Nah, they are rookies compared to Dominicans...Haiti just marketed better.

We are more stealthy. Haitians are flashy, Dominican trained Voodoo docs are more blue collar and take care of business:hi:

This. Wasn't Curt like 210 lbs soaking wet when he stepped on campus?

wasn't just the weight as freshmen thing. Rushing the passer was Maggitt's strongest aspect, Foster SEEMS like he might be more of a "complete" LB than that. jmo, and definitely not hating on Maggitt at all.

Some think he can play ILB. I don't. The obvious knock on him is his speed and ability to move sideline to sideline. But he seems to be pretty quick in a line, and he gets after the QB with quickness and tenacity on the tape I've seen.

He's a little upright, and needs some technical refinement, but I really like him as a pass rusher from a wide 9 or maybe a 7 technique. Shoop's work with Carl Nassib (not a great athlete himself, but check his Sr. year stats) makes me think he could do wonders with Foster in a Maggitt-type role.

"Vols are in a good spot, but I don't think he does anything soon. Clemson will make a push before it's all said and done."
