Sunday, Moore and his family hosted offensive coordinator Mike DeBord, offensive line coach Don Mahoney and tight ends coach Larry Scott. We talked about a lot of stuff including ball, Moore said. They have made it clear that they want me. My dad had some questions. And they weren't the easiest questions, but we had some questions we wanted to get answered. It was a deep conversation.
We have a great relationship, Moore said. We talk a lot. I think I talk to coach Jones more than anyone. I talk to coach Scott and coach Mahoney a lot. I like the way they keep up with me and my family. Keep me informed on things. Keep it real with me. They got a great commitment today with Trey Smith. That is exciting.
Tuesday, Louisville stopped by his school and on Thursday, Florida assistant coaches are coming in the home. Friday, Moore will take his first official visit, a trip to NC State before reporting for the North Carolina-South Carolina Shrine Bowl. In January, Moore has much of his schedule set.
Moore is visiting Tennessee January 14, Virginia Tech January 20, and is scheduled to visit South Carolina unless Florida changes his mind. What is going to be key for Moore, who has visited Tennessee multiple times, when it comes to choosing a school? Moore said a variety of things. I want to play early and I want to choose a good school where I can build a family and somewhere that has great academics, said Moore, who wants to major in criminal justice.
