Briefly caught up with TJ Moore today. He said he still plans on making an announcement tomorrow. He didn't want to do much more than just confirm a decision will happen tomorrow.

It's hard not to like Tennessee's chances right now coming off the visit and a decision coming so soon so we will see.

"I can't speak for other coaches. I saw both in Charlotte and came away liking Moore more than Ross.

Ross was a bit of a waste bender and Rutger Reitmaier went 5-5 or 6-6 against him. Moore won some and lost some, but looked athletic and has a lot more natural tools to work with and develop.

Now, I think Moore is farther away technique-wise. But, if he's given some time, I think his ceiling is higher.

I don't think either are tackle prospects."

Thanks, Ron. But, can anyone confirm what a waste bender is? I am getting all kinds of mental images and none of them are good.

OMG.

"Waist" bender.

He doesn't lower stance with bended knees but bends at waist and leans too much.

You're looking for guys that can squat and square up with quick feet and arms semi extended - not bending at waist and getting too far over their feet.

It was 3:52 in the blessed AM and I was having trouble going back to sleep. It does appear that the rest of VN has my back, however. I sort of had an idea what a waist bender was, but thanks for clarifying.
