FSU dismisses defensive end Tre Lawson after fight in preseason practice

While Taggart broke up the fight and wanted to kick Lawson out of the practice, he made Lawson and Williams hold hands and walk off the field together after their skirmish.

Lawson, a redshirt freshman, was not expected to breakthrough FSU’s defensive ends rotation. Brian Burns, Joshua Kaindoh, Janarius Robinson and Wally Aime were all ahead of Lawson on the depth chart.
