Tennessee clearly wasn't quite as high on Lawson as Florida State is. We'll see how that evaluation turns out.
I think the Vols might have seen Lawson as a guy who could have grown into a DT or been a bigger DE, whereas Thaxton looks like more of a true DE, so they aren't necessarily interchangeable. But I can understand why people might question that one. Time will tell how good of a decision it was.
