No. He will do what he has always done, stay 3 threes and jump before he can be held accountable. Unfortunately another P5 program will offer him a position and raise. WC Fields line comes to mind
Yea. Pointing out racist harassment Martin got is racist.
The only idiots that think that are actual racist and racism deniers.
Also he overachieved each year according to preseason rankings. That is a fact that can not be argued with. He also lead us to our second best finish in a year we weren't ranked preseason. Yea that sure warranted the harassment he and his family received.
I won't discuss this in the rf anymore though. Its obvious most of you have no idea how college basketball seasons work.

It was the article done where he was quoted that really turned most of us off with him for good. It was well after he left but I don't recall when exactly. If he hadn't said those things I would have come full circle on him by now. In fact I think he is going to do damn well at Mizzu and is a great hire.
No one has disputed that the family received death threats, so I'll accept that as fact for the sake of argument. It seems that some of you think k-town_king is saying that most, if not all, UT fans are bigots. I don't know any of you personally, and I don't come here often enough to know board personas. Perhaps he has said something of the sort in the past ,but he absolutely did not here. He simply said that it happened, and not one of you disputes that. You're arguing something else entirely.
It also seems that some of you are suggesting that the family overreacted to the threats which I find absurd. Perhaps we, as a society, should stop giving fans a pass in these situations. Sure, it happens, but that doesn't mean that people should just accept it. I don't know how I would react in that scenario, but it's not my place to tell someone else how to react. I also don't know how often such threats were sent. If it were a regular occurrence, I can understand how it would affect their perception of UT fans. Can anyone actually link to the interview in which Martin allegedly makes negative comments about UT and/or the fanbase? I've never read it.
No fan is getting a pass from me. They should rot in hell as far as I am concerned.
Here is your article

Fans don't have the right to treat anyone in a bad way. Whether they be black, white, or whatever. The problem is KTV says fans dislike for Zo was because he was black. I'm sure some fans are racist but 99.9% of the fans that didn't like Zo (including myself) didn't like him because he sucked as a coach.
Edit: and yes KTV has a history here. If a black person gets fired it's racism. If a black person gets arrested it's racism. If a black person gets kicked off a team, it's racism.
