Why why why do people insist on continuing to post about Stevens. He isn't coming here, was never going to come here & never will come here.

Let it go already. People act like we missed out on him or amari rogers. Niether were ever going to be Vols. Cant miss on someone that was never going to consider coming.

As to the question of whether he goes to LSU uf miles is gone. If im offered by TN, it doesn't matter who the coach is Im going to TN. I think he will be the same.

He is probably correct. Alabama is the logical choice. I doubt anybody knows FOR SURE where Jacoby would go if Miles is fired but Alabama is on top right now and recruits want to play for championships.

So why didn't the #1 player overall last year, the defensive tackle, go to Michigan instead of Alabama?

Oh yeah, cause every kid is different.

His top three seem to be LSU, Bama, and UGA. About the time news was pointing to UGA getting Gibbs Stevens recommitted to LSU. IMO it's reasonable to think IF he decided not to go to LSU if Miles is fired, Bama is the likely choice.

If they fire Les it will be a UT, Ala, UGA battle pending who LSU hires. More than likely Bama though unless UT changes how they recruit him.

Do you mean what position they are recruiting him for or the actual approach to recruiting him?? Is it a $$$$ thing?

That's exactly the problem you see. Leb gives his opinion in every players thread every day. Leb contributes the most out of anyone on VN and it really isn't close. And when I say contribute, I mean that loosely.

Opinions are great and needed for the board to function, however, Leb turns every one of his opinions into a fact anytime any questions his opinion. And turns every thread into the same non sense.

I don't contribute much to the board. I'm not biased. I'm not handy w/ info like, GFW, BO, ATLVOL, LWS, DeerPark, Ron, Fingers, 91, Freak, etc. But I also don't post 50 times a day recycling the same stuff.

He was Johnny on the spot last night. He does look like he is coasting half the time, but still manages to produce and still look like the #1 athlete in the country.
