'17 TN ATH Jacoby Stevens (LSU commit)

Chad Kelly ran all over them. Chad Kelly

Dobbs is about to break records

It's not a question of physical ability, and Chad Kelly is fairly athletic to be honest. Dobbs should have a big day. He did last year.

To me, it's a matter of mental preparation and managing this team's emotions. They haven't experienced a win this big on terms of emotion. I just fear a letdown. Physically and based solely on talent, we should win by 17 points.

No I understand what you are saying. I just think their defense looks eerily similar to Sunseri. The DL looked like they were wearing roller skates yesterday.

JaCoby is a stand up kid from a good family. He decommited once. Does he do it again?

If I he does, Vols and Bama are back on the radar.

If the unthinkable happened and we flipped him, how long before D-Con has him as "mediocre with an attitude problem"? :)

Lol

You're bad Butchna. D1 loves this kid. You can see it in his posts. Don't blame him. He's a special talent that doesn't come along everyday.

It will be interesting to see what happens here. Surely LSU targets an offensive minded coach (like Herman) and tries to keep Aranda. If that happens, I don't see why Stevens wouldn't end up with LSU again necessarily.

But who knows. A lot of times these things just come down to timing. Hopefully the timing ends up on our side here.

they've apparently reached out to Art Briles, so PR isn't a concern. Between the two I'd go with Petrino. Given the financial situation in Louisiana, Briles might be the best scumbag for the money.

petrino
briles
mullen
maybe kiffin if they think hes matured, pair him with the current DC and theyd be deadly because as big of a jerk as he is the man can coach an offense and develop qbs

I don't know how the lsu rainmakers feel about Kiffin, but I gotta believe Kiffin will express interest in the lsu job. I mean, he's already had his dream college job--and got sacked. How many college jobs bigger or better than lsu will come open in the next year or two? Very few, if any. I'd hire him before Briles, that's for sure, but that's just me. Kiffin knows the SEC; that's worth something. I'll bet Saban wouldn't mind Kiffin leaving for lsu just so he could kick his butt for a few years.

I swear, if offered, Kiffin will take it, keep Orgeron, and Sarkisian will have his pick between Bama and LSU as OC. You can put that down.

I'm not sure Herman leaves. Petrino may like it back in Louisville now. It's going to be interesting.
