The goal is to win championships, not 9-10 win seasons with SeC east crowns. See Mark Hunt at UGA. Georgia didn't settle and we sure as hell shouldn't. I'm still obviously supportive of Jones but if he doesn't win it this year he's probably not the guy.

Fair enough. How about this? Your post about UGA was COMPLETELY inaccurate. They settled for years of underachieving with Richt before they cut bait. And if Kirby hadnt threatened to take the SC job Richt would STILL be the coach. Is that better?

I never said he wasn't making progress. Im saying that if he doesn't win it this year, he most likely never will. I also said that I fully support him. The fact is UGA and Florida both have questions and we have as much talent as anyone in the country, more experience than anyone, and all Americans at every level.

And you act like he's done something with those wins. Yes it's progress on paper but look at the teams Tennessee beat. 0-3 vs UF, 0-3 vs Alabama,0-2 vs OU, 1-2 vs UGA 1-2 vs freaking Missouri. Guy lost to vandy. This is the year we see real progress.(hopefully)

Really strange recruiting, he was all UGA and even trying to recruit for them at times. Now Simmons saying UGA is out and it will be a Bama-LSU battle.

Does not matter to me since he won't be wearing orange, but after all the glowing love he showed for Mel Tucker and JC it is really odd that he has eliminated UGA.

I'm not 100% sure Stevens and Gibbs end up at the same position but if so I didn't see them both picking the same school. If I were guessing I think Gibbs leaning UGA(IMO) may have Stevens bailing out. CBs looking like bama recently.
