All fans are delusional but any time ppl say a kid is over rated because he's not a lean or commit is stupid. The whole thing of we chilled on a player is fake and childish. Shoop calls and wants Jacoby as dows Martinez and CBJ. This kid is a take anywhere in the country because he's an alpha male dominant player on both sides of the ball.

And for your latter question I have and always will be a UT fan but it doesn't cause me to be a fool to the facts. In life you can be a realist or a delusional fool, and I refse to be the latter.

Those guys write what they think is true. Jacoby is still enamored with UGA. He did a lot of working out with Mel Tucker at our camp 2 wks ago. So take all the recruiting guys talk as it is talk.

I said this a while ago, it was confusion about his future position and their presentation when he came down. All that was cleared up and they were immediately let back in and have a chance.

The problem is you keep saying 'people'. I saw only one person make this assessment. So when did one person's opinion become 'people'? If you're going to talk down to people, make sure you target your attack to the right person. That's all I'm saying.

It wasn't 1 person @ all, nor was it the 1st time either. So you address it how you see fit and I'll do the same. Sorry if it offended you.

I've seen DH4 claim that he was over rated. Can't recall anyone else. Some have said Gibbs is just as good if not better which is at least arguable.

I personally think Theo Jackson is more impressive on tape than Jacoby.

I'm not losing any sleep over where this kid goes.

Tee Higgins is the future superstar we're losing out on. Not Stevens.

You didn't offend me. I just find it comical when someone hops on a soapbox about people being out of touch with what is going on only to be out of touch with his assessment. Unless you have a Volnation VIP membership that allows you to see extra posts, other than that nimrod Dobbs for Heisman, I have seen no one in this thread question Jacoby Stevens ability. You can feel free to exaggerate your attack all you want and I'll feel free to point out how foolish it is. Glad we could clear that up.

I believe he is saying that you are taking the views of a small few and seem to be generalizing such view across the majority of the fan base. Frankly, you are wasting your time if you feel the need to validate Stevens' already obvious talent simply because of the view of some ignorant fans that you claim to already know exist everywhere. So, why do it? You should be able to sit behind your phone/laptop and laugh it off like most of us. By addressing others in the manner that you do creates conflict.

Lynx and Sanddune let me say 1 thing that statement wasn't in reference to just Jacoby but in general. Ppl make the "we cooled on him" statement all the time. It was said in this thread when it was early on. If a conflict is caused its because ppl are way too sensitive. If its taken the wrong way then that's not my fault. Its the same way ppl said that Jacoby, Wray, etc and his family seeing messages and taking them literally was dumb. Same thing here. Ijs I don't come here to make enemies but I'm also not here to coddle anyone either.

I have a feeling Stevens will sign with Tennessee, after we win the East. If that doesn't convince him, winning the natty will.
