Been lurking. Awesome news about Gray, and seems to go right along with the Butch recruiting script. I haven't been this excited about a season in a long time. I know we've had a lot of heartbreak over the years, but one thing that has really been fun to watch is the improvement over each year. We need to revive the night shift thread though.

Gray is one the best defensive players in the nation and he could've chose to play with the best players but it seems playing close to home was more important.

Butch Jones teams have no chemistry or real identity that breeds greatness like Jimbos teams has shown. Smh Tennessee is gonna lose Hurd who should be a LB or Hback and there decent QB soon and have to start from scratch.

A day late but super excited about this pickup. He's a beast and we just keep adding elite talent to the secondary if he ends up at safety. I'd personally love to see him at OLB though--he's got pro potential there IMO. Hopefully this gets the ball rolling for the '17 class!

Don't know who the coaches are specifically telling him to recruit, but I guess you saw that after his commitment, he mentioned that he is going to be on Fant, Higgens, Chandler, and even Stevens.
