The problem I have with this line of reasoning is that CBJ and company haven't graduated a high school recruit at UT yet. His earliest (and cobbled together) recruits are rising seniors. His best class is rising juniors. Ads in two years worth of injuries and the early o-line problems and I don't think you could really come close to evaluating Jones WR program at UT, certainly not in terms of NFL contracts. As a group his receivers aren't old enough to have made it to the NFL.

You guys really think he leaves because he's taking his OV's? Personally if I was him and could afford it I'd take my OV's too just for the vacation.

OV's are paid for by the school so I'll bet you could afford it. No I don't think he's gone because of that. Nobody likes recruits taking visits though. Just another opportunity for other coaches and players to get in their head.

There are different attitudes from coaches and recruits on this. Coaches would prefer committed players not take their visits. Some, Dabo, even tell commits that if they take visits their spot is not guaranteed. I don't know if Butch has stated that publicly but it is believed that he has a similar policy.

There have been quotes from recruits, even committed ones who have said things to point to Butch doesn't have a no visit policy. I'd like to see him rethink that stance. Of course he would have to adjust some other things to go along with it to make it work.

You can't recruit others to UT while still taking visits. Why should another kid take your word about going to UT when you have not shut it down yet.

Gonna be hard to peer recruit other players to UT when he hasn't shut down his own recruitment-- unlike Tee Higgins, Amari Rodgers and Hunter Johnson who say they have shut it down and are all-in Clemson.
