Obviously those recruiting sites will say anything to get clicks, but I also see that players are going to take advantage of using their officials, and a lot of times it's just a showing of appreciation to other programs that recruited them hard and offered. Heck if I was a highly touted recruit I'd take those free trips too. Gray was one of our earlier commits and has remained solid to us. The decision we make with Martinez may have some influence, but I'd be shocked if he flipped.

Me too. He knows he will have a very good opportunity to play early and be standout in his home State. I also think he like Shoop and wants to play for him.

One of two things need to happen by Butch here, right now, Gray is giving FSU the last visit. He is set to OV TN 1/13 and FSU after that. Either Butch needs to get him to campus and convince him to cancel the FSU OV (might be the plan) or Butch needs to ask Gray for the last OV (which he should readily agree to since he is a Commit). If he makes the FSU trip after OV to Tn, that speaks volumes and will give Tn little time to flip/offer someone else. Jmho

In my opinion, CBJ needs to do everything he can to keep Gray. He can play either LB or in the secondary for us where we have immediate needs.

He's played some RB & WR in high school but this kid is a hitter & he could easily come in & contribute at LB or S for us. Thanks!
